What does Smarter Health Plus cover?

Hospitalization (inpatient) treatment in Thailand, including:

Room & board and ICU
Medical practitioners' fees
Surgery and medical procedure fees, incl. day surgery
Personal Accident benefit — 100,000 THB
Optional Outpatient (OPD) add-on available

What is the maximum entry age?

Plans 1–3: from 11 years old
Plan 4: from 15 days old
Buy before age 60 + renew continuously → lifetime renewal
Buy after age 60 → renewable until age 80

Can I include my family in the policy, and what discount applies?

Yes, each family member gets their own policy. No family discount on Smarter Health Plus, but you get a 10% premium refund if no claim is made during the policy year.

Is coverage available worldwide, or only in Thailand?

Thailand only.

Is there a waiting period?

General sickness: 30 days from policy start
Specific conditions (tumors, cysts, cancer, hernias, cataracts, tonsillectomy, stones, varicose veins, endometriosis, etc.): 120 days
Emergency surgery unrelated to a pre-existing condition: no waiting period

How do I file a claim (cashless vs. my health app), and how long does reimbursement take?

Cashless: treat at any of the 490+ network hospitals/clinics — no upfront payment
Reimbursement: submit via the Allianz health app or customer service for non-network providers
Processing time depends on documentation — our consultant can confirm current turnaround

Do I need a plan with worldwide coverage instead?
